@yeluey Asta’s have always been a favorite for me. I also quite like OG SW’s for all the hacking terms (sadly much cooler than SW999 who I hope to make my first 5* e6 but maybe I’ll luck into those last two OG SW eidos along the way)
@girlrot_@LOLCrashForce @itscloudysei @Pirat_Nation I honestly don't care about the original topic much, but I just gotta say as someone who has played both of those games (regrettably for Nekopara lol), DDLC does not belong in the same category at all. It’s a genius psychological horror game that starts disguised as a dating sim.
(For 10/24/19 since I forgot) Maybe off topic, but I spoke in the full class discussion a few times, since I hadn’t in the past and thought maybe I should for the sake of my learning. I think I want to do this more in the future but only when I definitely have something to say.
The inspirational short at the beginning made me realize how prevalent racial and gender bias is in schools, especially in math, and how much it needs to be fought against #tapuw
I really enjoyed the conversation around standardized testing today; it’s something I’ve definitely thought about a decent amount. I also like how the book blends educational history with educational methods #tapuw
For 10/8/19: Reading about all the work that has gone into striving for equality for female teachers and how much it was fought against and how long it took for change to happen is kind of depressing; it’s a wonder any change is ever accomplished in this country #TAPUW
I was really impressed by how organized the first team was despite only having a few days to get ready. I also really enjoyed listening to some of the class discussion about equity and the 10%; the students who spoke up had so much passion #TAPUW
It’s interesting to focus so much on talking to each other rather than the teacher and to focus on who we’re talking to. I think having the “spider” in the discussion made me a lot more conscious of who I was directing words towards in the discussion #TAPUW
I was surprised to hear that there is some good to standards, because I’ve associated that with restricting teachers. Also, I sadly resonate with what was said towards the end as a STEM major...I’m interested in teaching, but it’s hard because of salary difference #TAPUW
I was expecting this class to just be about how to teach content effectively, but it looks like it’s about the entire profession of teaching. I’m excited to see what I learn here! #TAPUW
