Tory MP Harriett Baldwin claimed back £2,130 on expenses to pay for her utility bills between 2019 and 2021.
In 2013 she attempted to claim back a £50 donation to a hospice.
Retweet this if you think Baldwin should pay for her own utility bills.
@RishiSunak In light of America's recent political escapades with Trump is actually quite an achievement. Congratulations, Tories, you made the UK look worse than America, and if you carry on, you'll outstrip North Korea as well. Fuck you, sincerely, from an appalled UK Citizen.
@RishiSunak You are all so blatantly and unashamedly in politics purely to line the pockets of your friends and cronies. You very clearly don't give a fuck about the actual people on who's behalf you are supposed to be governing. This country is a laughing stock internationally now, which...
@jk_rowling Are you calling yourself a prophet now? Seriously, please stop. You're inciting hate against a group of people who just want to live comfortably in their own skin. It doesn't hurt you, they aren't predators, you're just paranoid.
In my (non sea-faring) partners words, Wreck is "Like Hi-de-hi, but wrapped in terrifying murder porn" I say "Slick look at the ease at which money makes anything acceptable" Looking forward to season 2! Nice job @BBC
Now on ep 5. Absolutely gripped by the plot and twists but utterly distracted by Karen's changing stripes. She introduced herself as Staff Captain while wearing 3 stripes, which ranks her as Chief Officer, has subsequently worn Staff Capt (4 Gold with white in between) for formal
After Ep 6: Ducking brilliant. Reminds a lot me of Christopher Brookmyre's writing, which I have devoured with glee. Silly dark, and the actual point made at the end, well, I'm on-board.
@Clanky74 Yeah and the main characters are wearing front of house uniform of some kind. While its unclear what job title they have, they seem to be kitchen porters/ pot-wash so I'd expect them to be in lighter fabric t -shirts....
I'm 11 minutes in to Wreck, which randomly dropped on @BBC today and am chortling delightedly at the sheer accuracy of the experience of joining a cruise ship as crew so far.
No 3. That level of worker (going by what they are doing not the uniform) would not get a single cabin. But actually most entertainment staff all share cabins too, there is always an elite that do get their own, but generally for reasons (that I never cared about)
No 2: How did 2 people using the same identity get onboard? STCWs, Discharge books, passports, photo ID are all prerequisites... Security on cruise ships is effin' tight, its like getting on a plane.
First episode conclusions No 1: I can't buy in to the main characters having such nebulous job roles as grunt workers in polo shirts. That type of uniform would be worn by low or medium level crew in the Recreation and Entertainment sector eg, childcare workers, sports staff etc
