Consumer trust in AI search is falling. Fast.
Last year, 82% of consumers found AI more helpful than traditional search.
Today? That number is 54%.
(That's from Fractl's new survey of 1,000+ consumers)
So in twelve months, trust in AI search dropped almost 30 points.
In fact, Baby Boomers (63%) are now MORE likely than Gen Z (47%) to find AI helpful.
This actually makes sense:
Gen Z uses AI search the most. So they're going to catch more mistakes than boomers.
The key takeaway here: people no longer blindly trust AI answers.
Instead, they VERIFY.
Specifically, they check third party reviews, Reddit, your actual site, and more.
Which means showing up in AI answers is only half the job for brands now.
The other half is showing up in places that people use to fact-check what the AI just told them.

I said if $BTC touches $81,000
I’d drop $30,000 in BTC to 30 people.
Most thought it would never happen.
But Bitcoin just hit it.
So today, $30,000 in BTC goes to 30 random people.
