I'll say it until I'm blue in the face. Passing is the most underrated skill in hockey. Our game is the ultimate team game. If we don't teach our kids how to pass and support consistently we're not developing hockey players.
Check out these beauties from last night. Great job!
KIDS: I see so many of you do everything you can in practice to contort your body to not have to give or receive a pass on the backhand. To play at the highest levels, you have to be able to give and receive backhand passes!
Check out these beauties. Great job!
Brodie Ziemer has three goals and if you are a young forward watch these. On every one he and his stick beat his check to an open area in hard space to score. Scoring is a mindset, you have to go and find goals, they don't just come to you. Be proactive and add extra effort.

PARENTS: Don't build your happiness around your kid’s athletic performance. If you get in a bad mood because they played bad, take a break from the game. Your kid needs to have tough performances to learn, not have great performances to make you feel good.
