Bolton Early Detection and Intervention Service (EDIT) will be advertising for an Assistant Psychologist role in a lovely welcoming team with good support and supervision. These posts often have a short advert window due to the volume of applications, so I wanted to flag it here.

First time using our new Light Bars for EMDR in our Early Intervention for Psychosis team. Thank you to Bolton SLT for funding these kits. It’s great to be offering this choice in EI. My favourite part is being able to choose true colour of the light 😊💫 #EMDR#EIT
Brilliant news! Hannah is one of our fantastic Bolton Early Intervention for Psychosis Consultants. A well deserved nomination with her training across the Trust incl. Trauma Informed Care, reflective practice for trainees & dedication to developing others locally. Good luck 🙌

This is an update to a set of images I did a year ago, now with an inconsistent care cycle. I used to use this in Training a lot to thing about how behaviours we develop that are seen as maladaptive are actually highly adaptive.
Retweet only, do not copy. Thanks 😊
Resistance band classes for Bolton community staff, thanks to GMMH Dragons Den.
Feedback from participants so far is reduction of stress, toning and increased flexibility.
It's a low impact full body workout.

I visited a medium secure unit yesterday and asked the psychologist there if he does therapy. He showed me this framework by @KimSGolding. I thought it was such a good way of showing the different intervention needs that come before therapy that I decided to draw it...
Just completed Day 3 of EMDR training. Really fascinating & powerful training. Thank you to @Polly_Solomon Lee Fitzpatrick & @KakieVee from Bolton @GMMH_NHS, genuinely investing in Trauma informed care and trauma interventions. Increasing the therapeutic offer in our EIT. 🙌😊
