@sappholives83 Is playing time of exceptionally tall boys also limited, or are they nurtured to reach their full potential? Is this a general approach in youth basketball, or is it only individual girls who can't excel?

@RoisinMichaux Brilliant Roisin. Rings very true. I recall the non-binary in my daughter's primary. All the parents clapped and admired her bravery. Her mum shared sympathetic podcasts and articles to educate us. The child has grown out of it, but dozens were introduced trans. What harm!
We have responded to the letter by CoE Commissioner for Human Rights, Michael O‘Flaherty, on the UK Supreme Court ruling. His remarks could undermine women’s rights and judicial independence in the UK. ⬇️

‘How long before UK Jobcentres move from encouraging unemployed women into OnlyFans to mandating it?’
This disturbing new post explains how UK job centres are already encouraging OnlyFans as self-employment for unemployed women, while stories emerge of male job coaches seeking free access to their ‘content’.
“… The first time I heard OnlyFans mentioned in my capacity as a Work Coach was when a colleague, who clearly thought he was doing the decent thing, declared on the office floor, which from 9-5pm is a public space, that he could not continue to work with a particular claimant because he knew her from OnlyFans. I believe this is the shape of things to come.
The second time was a few months later, during a three-day online training session on how to deliver self-employment guidance to claimants running their own businesses. Inexplicably, the (middle-aged, female) trainer highlighted training scenarios using OnlyFans, rather than, say, a book-keeping or catering business, and this seemed to unleash a steady stream of puerile comments from participants throughout the training that went entirely unchallenged by the facilitators.
Additionally, colleagues relayed experiences of OnlyFans content creators offering Work Coaches free access to sexualised content and one instance of a Work Coach contacting a claimant on OnlyFans after obtaining their details through an appointment at the Jobcentre. It is a sackable offence for Work Coaches to use information gleaned from confidential databases for personal use, although this Work Coach remains in post.
During this training session, one of the facilitators alluded to the fact she’d been in trouble for encouraging OnlyFans engagement, while her co-facilitator confirmed that the DWP regards OnlyFans as a legitimate source of self-employed income that can and should be taxed…”

In Australia, a woman has just lost her appeal against a 2-year court order for “violence.”
Her crime?
Posting a photo of a "trans woman" that was already available publicly — and asking:
“Why are males playing in female soccer teams?”
This is the story of Kirralie Smith 🧵
Prison reform.
Interesting article but makes no mention of men in women’s prisons.
Limerick women’s prison is cited as “the most overcrowded facility, at 48% above capacity.”
So why house men in an overcrowded estate?
Prisons should be single sex.

Ten years ago this month - on the 15th July 2025 - the then Irish Government passed the Gender Recognition Act thus permitting men to identify into all women’s spaces simply by signing a piece of paper - no physical changes required. The law also gives fuel to the dangerous lie that it’s possible for children and adolescents to change sex (which many attempt to do by medicalisation and surgery including by radical double mastectomy of healthy breasts). The law has been regressive. It has stripped women of their rights in Ireland and is causing untold damage to young otherwise healthy young people. I am suggesting that on July 15th people try to raise awareness of this Act with the hashtag #OverTheRadar - the act was infamously passed ‘under the radar’ and we need to get a spotlight on it.
My latest article 'Break the Silence' is about the Irish broadcasting regulator @CNaM_ie and our national public service broadcaster @rte who now answer to gender identity lobbyists rather than the public. Link in next tweet. Thank you @genspect for publishing. Shares appreciated
@faintlyfalling We're supposed to be afraid of this improbable scenario, that has never happened. And at the same time pretend other relatively frequent, well documented scenarios never happen. Nope
@ColetteColfer@tcddublin We can see things slowly turning around in the UK, helped along by court cases. Can you see that having an influence in Ireland, or do you think our universities will persevere, thinking they know better?
I keep bangin on about the damaging impact of the Athena Swan Ireland Charter on higher education in Ireland.
What do you think is the purpose of a university? Should it be to tell people what to think and what to say? Or should it be about engaging with different ideas, questioning everything, examining the evidence, listening to diverse viewpoints? It strikes me that higher education in Ireland has taken a bureaucratic turn. There is an emphasis on compelling thought and on gathering data and developing action plans.
If, for example, there is a drive towards gender equality, we must question what is meant by this. Etc.
IMHO the Athena Swan Ireland Charter is destroying the higher education sector in Ireland.

Brussels' trans lobby's full-frontal assault on EU women's rights: please share
The EU has already hosted multiple private meetings this year with LGBTIQ/transgender NGOs to talk about the new EU LGBTIQ strategy -- and those NGOs are all on the Commission's payroll.
What chance do the women and kids of Europe have in the face of such cosy relationships?
The NGO Transgender Europe, which receives millions from the EU Commission, has already had 3 closed-door meetings this year, 2 of which were with the people responsible for the next EU LGBTIQ strategy.
During these meetings, the trans lobby has urged Commissioner @hadjalahbib and senior management in @EU_Justice to continue to decimate women's and girls' rights by mandating that states introduce laws that legitimise gender identity, a term invented by sexologists to help explain paraphilic transvestism in men, in favour of biological sex, which is the actual basis of sex-base oppression and homophobia.
The lobbyists of Transgender Europe (but also lobbyists from a number of other NGOs who are allied with the trans lobby in Brussels, and who also receive millions in EU public subsidies) are also urging Commissioner Lahbib to include a ban on exploratory therapy for people with gender distress.
No gender-critical women's groups or evidence-based medicine professionals have been invited to any of these meetings. So the best we can do is have our say here in this public consultation

@Telegraph If every strong, brave, courageous woman in history is assumed to be trans, what sort of message is that giving to girls today? Sexist and utterly ridiculous
I’d never heard of Garron Noone until this morning when a friend texted to tell me of his cancellation.
Watched his ‘contentious’ video. He makes good points. We need civil discussions. And we need funny comedians.
