Oi………..Don’t be telling us you want more respect for officials, when we’re seeing how little respect Mike Dean had for the integrity of the game.
Sort your house out. @prorefofficial
Reverse the roles here.
What would happen to an active player if he were to admit to regularly doing similar? eg how quickly to commit the first foul?… how many corners conceded? etc.
He’d get a lifetime ban.
There are tight rules around this for spread betting purposes.
Diabolical to have a PGMOL culture so rotten; this sort of thing happens... but worse, the people who partake in these games are brazen enough to brag about it.
This is worse than incompetence; it's a total failure of governance.
Remember when Pochettino lost his shít at Mike Dean after he cost Spurs 3pts with a horrific display of officiating, and he (allegedly) said, “there’s your title gone!”?
Loads of debate at the time as to whether a ref would say that.
Does anyone actually still doubt Poch?
🚨🇩🇪 Manchester United could have signed David Raum from RB Leipzig having been told ALL summer he was available, as per @RobDawsonESPN.
However, signing a 28-year-old for £30 million on a four of five year contract was viewed as 'potentially disruptive for the next stage of transfer business' ❌
Thoughts, Reds? #MUFC
MIKE DEAN’S SECRET PREMIER LEAGUE GAMES
Ex-Premier League referee Mike Dean admits he used to play secret mini-games on the pitch while officiating top-flight matches.
Mike Dean: “We used to say, ‘Right, we'll kick off now, right? See how long we can go without blowing a whistle.’ Done that a few times in the Premier, before VAR obviously. 20–25 minutes without blowing a whistle a few times.”
“I used to stand in the center circle and see how long I could stay in the center circle before I had to leave.”
Josh James: “Got about 15 minutes once in one game without leaving the center circle.”
Mike Dean: “Easy money.”

“That was just me joking about.”
Yeah, not like your job was to officiate games properly. Mike Dean has said stuff like this before, Clattenburg has openly talked about letting teams self-destruct too. They seem to think it makes them sound like lads. Baffling mentality.
