Today, like yesterday, I am at Priory Park in Southend with @stjohnambulance colleagues for @lazydaysfest. Another great day so far, and it's not finished yet, with @petedoherty still to come.

Today, my #MySJADay sees me hopping on a train to Romford to go on a @stjohnambulance driving course.
Hopefully, after this weekend, I'll be able to drive more SJA vehicles, meaning I'll be able to help get vehicles, equipment and volunteers to various events and locations.

Delighted to announce my appointment as one of two Deputy County Commissioners for Essex.

I'll be supporting the County Commissioner, our Community Networks, and all of the volunteers across Essex.

I'm looking forward to helping guide Essex as part of its new County Council

On Friday #MySJADay saw me and colleagues attending a local primary school for their PTA firework display. It was a fantastic community event, and I was able to get my traditional @stjohnambulance themed pictures.

It's Day 2 of @ClactonAirshow, and I'm happy to say the weather is much better than yesterday. Once again, I have the privilege of leading the team of @stjohnambulance volunteers at our treatment area by @ClactonPier.

Day 1 of Clacton Airshow. The wind has scuppered a few flights, but it won't scupper us as we look after the public.

Today, my #MySJADay brings me to Burroughs Park to provide cover for Great Wakering Rovers v Worcester City. FA Vase semi-final second leg, so one game away from Wembley for one team. Hopefully, the game will be as good as the weather.

Last night, I finally got back out on duty, not had chance since August, so by far, the longest time I have ever gone without doing an event.

It was great to be out in the local community supporting fantastic charity event with some amazing #StJohnPeople.

Tonight I'm on Canvey Island to join @SJA_CastlePoint for their weekly training evening. As an Area Manager it's great to get out and see the volunteers in their own unit.

Today I was privileged to lead the team of @stjohnambulance volunteers looking after everyone at Southend-on-Sea Remembrance Parade.

I am so proud of the professionalism and dedication shown throughout an extremely busy day.

Earlier I popped to the Southend Cenotaph for a site visit with the organiser in preperation for @stjohnambulance once again covering the Remembrance Parade.

This evening I'm off to Chelmsford for a catch up with the other Essex Area Managers.

Day 2 of the Level 3 Award in Education and Training in Newmarket.

What a change, yesterday was a beautiful day with sunshine and blue skies, today its gloomy, grey and wet.

It won't bring our day down, but I'm glad we are indoors.

Today I'm in Newmarket for the first day of my Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Continuing on the pathway to becoming a trainer within @stjohnambulance. It's a little weird as I'm missing another fixture at Southend United to be here.
