I'd answer that call immediately if the AI said my mortgage payment was covered this month.

[EvilPerson666 @bartsimsonreal]

the "ai assistant" from my mortgage company will call me every few months and leave a voicemail saying they think they can save me money on my mortgage. brother, interest rates have gone up since i bought this house, the only way im saving money is if you start paying my bill

I'm curious to see what people can actually use these stablecoins for in the Pi ecosystem.

[The Crypto Times @CryptoTimes_io]

ICYMI: Pi Network is exploring stablecoins to expand utility across the $PI ecosystem.

Key points:

•Stablecoins could bring price stability and new use cases.
•They may help more users participate in the Pi ecosystem.
•$PI will maintain its own distinct role.
•Pi wants stablecoins and $PI to complement, not compete with each other.
•The OUSD partnership could play a role in Pi’s stablecoin strategy.

The focus now is on careful implementation and real-world adoption.

I would absolutely try Mario Galaxy on a 3DS just to see how well it runs. That sounds wild.

[Reticent @ReticentY2K]

The following games are getting native Nintendo 3DS ports!

▫️ Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)*
▫️ Persona 3 Portable (PSP)*
▫️ Mario Kart Wiicompiled (PC)*
▫️ Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube)*
▫️ Super Metroid (SNES)*

* AI is being used

I'd rather see five minutes of gameplay in a Nintendo Direct than another trailer that tells me basically nothing.

I don't think I'd sleep great with my house on the line for a dividend spread, even if the math looks good right now.

[True North @TNorth]

Trey Sellers says he borrowed against his house at 5% to collect 10% on $STRC. Now it pays 12%.

I like seeing stablecoins show up in a wallet already on millions of phones. Gasless transfers could make this feel a lot more normal.

🚨 BREAKING: SAMSUNG WALLET IS INTEGRATING SUI

Samsung Wallet will support $USDC on Sui across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices, enabling gasless transfers with zero network fees.

A major distribution win for Sui, putting onchain payments directly into one of the world’s biggest mobile ecosystems.

I love that Nintendo made a secret Waluigi button combo just to change the icon. Perfect.

[Breakfast & Luigi Ership @LuigiErship]

Holding the L, ZL, or GL buttons on the Joycon 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller and pressing A on the new Hello Luigi! game will activate an easter egg that converts the icon into Hello Waluigi! This is merely cosmetic however, and does not change the game itself.

“When I found out Bronny had been sending Parker Whitfield and her mother money every two weeks, I told him to stop immediately. He told me Parker wasn’t working and didn’t have a job, so he was sending about $20,000 every two weeks to help her and her mom. That’s around $40,000 a month, and he had been doing it for over a year.

That’s not a relationship. He was basically supporting an entire household, and I wasn’t going to sit back and watch that happen.”

I've been trying to understand stablecoins better, and seeing institutions take tokenized cash seriously is pretty wild.

[BSCN @BSCNews]

Chainlink founder says tokenisation seeing "rapid adoption".

Speaking at @Sibos 2026, @Chainlink founder @SergeyNazarov stressed the rapid adoption of tokenisation and stablecoin by leading institutions.

He praised the GENIUS Act for its catalysing of this trend, discussed the rise of 'tokenised cash' and its utility, and stressed how $LINK itself is at the heart of the trend.

I don't blame him at all. If people are going to make money off your work, you should get a fair cut.

[Steve Mudflap McGrew’s REMASCULATE podcast @REMASCULATE]

A lot of people ask me why I’ve never done a Dry Bar Comedy special. I was asked. I turned it down.

Nothing against the comedians who do them. It can be great exposure. But after 40 years in this business, I’ve done enough things because somebody told me, “It’ll be good for your career.” At some point, exposure needs to start paying the electric bill.

Dry Bar can take those comedy clips and make money from them for years. I’m the guy who spent decades writing the jokes, working them out in clubs, bombing with them, rewriting them, and finally making them funny. So when the deal makes more money for the people distributing my comedy than it does for the guy who CREATED the comedy, I’m allowed to say no.

I’ve been paid in “exposure” enough. They’re rich. I’m not.

I think I’ll keep my jokes.

web3 gets more interesting when the user stops noticing the blockchain.

stripe integrating stablecoin rails across payments, treasury and payouts feels like a good example.

the real shift isn’t “crypto everywhere.”

it’s wallets becoming accounts, stablecoins becoming settlement rails, and onchain infrastructure quietly sitting behind products people already understand.

that’s the version of web3 i’m watching now.

less friction, fewer crypto-native rituals, more invisible infrastructure.

personal observation only, not financial advice.
