Use it all the time. Never tried a stainless one I'd expect it's no different brew-wise. Main knock against is the price, but no plastic. It's bulkier and weighs more than a pound so best to keep it in one place.

Lots of ways to tweak aeropress recipe but overall takes about 2 minutes.

Rinsing the filter is nothing, just set it up without coffee inside and pour water through. Can reuse paper filters several times. Can also get a metal filter but I like the cleaner cup from a paper one.
