Vale Mrs Ronelle Knowles. Our beloved HSIE teacher forced to retire & fight cancer. Last night she passed in her sleep, at home & surrounded by her family. 45 years young, loved & missed by husband John & young kids Lily, Lulu, Charlie & Felix. Amazing teacher, touched 1000s💔

I’m a Principal and my entire senior executive and executive will be out on @TeachersFed strike. Let’s make May 4 too loud to ignore. This campaign is incredibly important for the future of our great profession. We deserve #Morethanthanks
Appalled to hear through a friend that some Executive have been told by the Principal & DEL they "cannot" strike on Wednesday May 4. A reminder to everyone that Executive are teachers too, and can (should) be members of our Union. Federation's industrial action is for ALL members
@pipcleaves Amazing - this articulated so well everything we are and do @SJBHS3. A hub of innovation out of necessity, where relationships between each other are central to everything we do. Amazing article. Loved it. ❤️ Thanks Pip. ✊🌟💪
Woke up this morning feeling very blessed to be disabled - I reckon my parents are pretty happy about it too.
Feeling sorry for us and our families doesn’t help. Treating us equally, and giving us the choice and control over our own lives does
At @SJBHS3 we recognised ANZAC Day today. Our students put together a wonderful recognition of our Indigenous ANZACs. Really interesting & quite shocking at the same time. Our Yr 8 Navy Cadet was an extra special treat, along with Wendy Lindsay MP. Thanks for a great ceremony!✊
Happy 70th birthday to our wonderful EALD teacher Wendy Dugmore. 50 years teaching, 37 @SJBHS3. What a legend and absolute champion. We all love you (and you can’t retire yet!)✊🔥❤️🌟

@gregwhitby 9. Room for teacher creativity and autonomy. 10. Allow teacher diversity. 11. Employers to follow union rules. (The union is needed to stop the exploitation of the teacher and ancillary staff). 12. Show appreciation to teachers in words and actions.
Dear Santa,my simple Christmas list.
1 No COVID in 2022. 2 No league tables in media with HSC results. 3 More support for early schooling for every child. 4 Replace HSC. 5 Listen more to teacher voices. 6 consolidate change.
I don't pretend to understand the medical ins and outs - but it is indeed becoming clear in my view that Rudd is right and we need to booster boosters. All the available data suggests it is the boostere who are best protected against the new strain.
