Spoke to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio this evening. I reiterated India’s strong protest at the attacks by the US Navy in the Gulf that killed three Indian mariners. Such lethal actions against commercial shipping are not justified.
"No European country has been attacked with Indian Weapons... So Keep that in Mind"...!!!
I think Europe was not expecting that answer from Minister @DrSJaishankar 👏
Respected @nsitharaman ji and @FinMinIndia ,
Suggestion 1 of 3 for strengthening India's capital markets:
Long-term capital gains tax on listed equities should be abolished.
A long-term shareholder is not a speculator but a provider of patient risk capital. By investing in and holding businesses, investors help companies expand, create jobs, innovate and contribute to India's economic growth.
India requires enormous amounts of long-term capital to build world class enterprises, infrastructure and global champions. Tax policy should encourage households to move savings from passive assets, including imported stores of value such as gold, into productive businesses that create jobs, generate tax revenues and build national wealth.
The appreciation in a company's value is not created in isolation. During its growth journey, the government already collects corporate tax, GST, income tax from employees, customs duties, stamp duties and numerous other levies. Long-term capital gains are often the final outcome of economic activity that has already generated substantial tax revenues.
Most importantly, tax policy should clearly distinguish between investment and speculation. A long term shareholder is a partner in wealth creation, not merely a participant in market transactions. Tax policy should reward long-term ownership of productive businesses and distinguish it from short-term speculation.
India needs more patient capital, more entrepreneurship and more long term investing. Abolishing long-term capital gains tax on listed equities would be a powerful step in that direction.
Respectfully submitted.
Respected @nsitharaman ji and @FinMinIndia,
Suggestion 2 of 3 for strengthening India's capital markets:
Dividend income on listed equities should not be subjected to double taxation.
A business can raise capital in only two ways: debt or equity.
When a company raises debt, the interest paid to lenders is treated as a business expense and deducted before tax. The lender may then pay tax on the interest received.
However, when a company raises equity capital, dividends are paid out of profits that have already suffered corporate tax. The shareholder is then taxed again on the same stream of income.
More importantly, equity capital bears far greater risk than debt capital. A lender has a contractual right to interest and principal repayment. A shareholder has no such guarantee. Dividends are discretionary, capital is fully at risk, and the shareholder stands last in line if a business fails.
If debt providers receive tax-deductible compensation despite bearing lower risk, there is a strong case for more favourable treatment of equity providers who supply the permanent capital that fuels entrepreneurship, innovation, employment and economic growth.
India needs to encourage long-term risk capital and greater participation in equity markets. Tax policy should reward those who provide patient equity capital to Indian enterprises rather than place them at a relative disadvantage compared to debt capital.
Respectfully submitted.
“Last time we lost in Arambagh, Goghat, Khanakul, Pursura…but we spared you out of magnanimity. This time, I personally take responsibility. After May 4, I'll see whose father from Delhi comes to save them.”
~ Abhishek Banerjee’s open threat to voters.
This would imply US giving indirectly encouragement and cover to Pakistan to stage a significant terrorist attack against India.
Should Pakistan sponsor such an attack, India will respond irrespective of Trump’s softness towards Field Marshal Munir.
Actually, US should in the first place put all its weight behind curbing such adventurism by Pakistan.
Also, why is it so difficult to force Google Maps or any foreign maps API provider to show correct Indian map in India? How can we be so apathetic, or should I call it, "weak"?
Son of a BJP MLA from Pichhore (Madhya Pradesh) ran over five people and arrogantly blamed the victims. He has a similar past case too. His father also has a glorious criminal record.
Look at his Thar: no number plate, sirens, modified lights, and his father’s photo and designation in bold. He must have been roaming like this, and no policeman would have dared act on these multiple RTO offences.
Given his confidence and our faith in the system, this time too he’ll face no action.
Hindu women were blackmailed, fed beef, coerced to convert, and sexually assaulted by their Muslim team leads. For four years. Their complaints were ignored. The women worked in @TCS, that just reported a revenue of 2.6 lac crores.
TCS is yet to issue a statement or an apology.
Think of the worst way to die, and India will still manage to shock you with something even more horrific.
An LKG girl was travelling in a dilapidated school bus. The bus jolted. A section of the already rotten floor collapsed. The child, Ananya, slipped through the gap, fell straight under the rear wheel, and was crushed to death on the spot.
This was not some remote village van. This bus belonged to some Mount International School, Aligarh, supposedly a “reputed” private school. A school that allowed children to travel in a death trap.
Look at the condition of the seats and the floor in the images. This very bus was issued a fitness certificate just 11 months ago.
Huge backlash over UGC regulations 2026
UGC issued regulations for colleges and Universities of India to stop discrimination at campus
Shocking part is as per these regulations-
- Only General students will be considered criminals (Oppressor)
- Only OBC/SC/ST students will be considered victim (Oppressed)
- No action on false complaint
- Gives entry to NGOs in campus to spread woke left ideology
By just glancing at the document, it gives the idea that this document has been prepared by woke leftist or copy pasted from woke US Universities
I request @EduMinOfIndia@dpradhanbjp to take back these regulations

Until now, the minimum qualifying criterion for PG medical seats for SC, ST, and OBC candidates was the 40th percentile, about 235 marks out of 800.
As per an order of the Ministry of Health, this has been reduced to the 0th percentile, meaning even a score of –40 out of 800 is now eligible, subject to seat availability.
The one profession that directly deals with life and death, where competence should be sacred and non-negotiable,has been dragged down to this level. Perhaps this is the only country in the world where such a dangerous dilution of standards is not just tolerated, but actively encouraged.
I was wondering after 10 years of a so-called "right wing" Govt in India how come so many young Indians were growing into woke foot soldiers for the deep state to use to shake the state.
Now I see it. It seems as if many ministries in India are compromised by the DS. Because this is not like apathy of GoI letting some old Congress era propaganda stay in our school textbooks.
This is active insertion of DS woke ideology - which they use as a psyops tool to create, instigate, and use large groups within countries to arm twist their govts.
Read this absolute horror story:
In June 2017, a minor girl accused Unnao BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar of rape, but the police refused to register an FIR. After months of inaction, in April 2018, the girl attempted suicide by self-immolation outside the CM’s residence, which finally forced the authorities to file the FIR.
Meanwhile, her father was arrested on false charges and reportedly assaulted in police custody; he later died in hospital due to his injuries. Public outrage followed. Even before any proper investigation had begun, a key witness in this mysterious custodial death was also found dead.
The case was eventually transferred to the CBI. The CBI concluded that the girl’s father died due to injuries inflicted in custody and that the assault was connected to an attempt to pressure and intimidate the victim’s family.
In July 2019, while the victim was travelling to court with her two aunts and lawyer, their car was hit by a truck, killing both her aunts and leaving the victim and the lawyer critically injured, an incident later treated as a deliberate attempt to silence witnesses.
In December 2019, Sengar was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment, but by then the victim’s family had already paid an irreparable price. The Unnao rape case had all the elements of an 80s–90s Bollywood villain plot: systemic intimidation, blatant abuse of power, and a trail of destruction that went far beyond the crime itself. But worse was still to come.
Yesterday, the Delhi High Court suspended the jail term and granted bail to Sengar. This is nothing but salt rubbed into the wounds of whatever little the victim’s family has left. An absolute disgrace. After everything they endured, this feels like the system mocking them. Shameful beyond words, and everyone should raise their voice against this.
Turkey🇹🇷 brought orphaned children from Ukraine🇺🇦 under the "Childhood Without War" project in 2022.
A Ukrainian inspection team arrived at the hotel in MARCH 2024.
They found multiple cases of negligence, abuse, rape, and children being punished for not participating in fundraising.
As a result of sexual abuse, two minor girls became pregnant and gave birth.
Children who spoke about it were later forced to sign documents stating “we had no complaints about the staff and all interactions with Turkish men were consensual.”
Despite the findings, the inspection remained unknown to the public and no prosecution followed.
The “Childhood Without War” project was terminated in December 2024, and the kids were returned to Ukraine
An Ukrainian investigation that took place was also closed in June 2025. No prosecution ever happened.
Kids fled bombs, only to be raped, impregnated, and forced to call it “consensual.” The case is closed now, the adults walked free, and those girls are now prolly raising babies alone. If your heart doesn’t break at this, nothing will :(
