These two paradigms are introductory and philosophical, but understanding them provides perspective on who can lead and what it takes to lead from a basic, fundamental standpoint.

Be positive - we are all leaders & can be right on the inside.

#2 - Effective leadership originates on the inside of everyone - integrity of an "upright heart" and one that focuses on both integrity & stewardship are essential for effective leaders. At the end of the day, leaders must be right on the inside first - the heart must be right.

#1 - For better or worse, anyone can lead. Think about the 10-80-10 principle - in a group of people, the top 10% are your top people, the next 80% are waiting to be led, & the remaining 10% can have negative influence on all. Leaders come from each group - anytime, any where.

I would like to pivot to share some of the various leadership nuggets I often come across & reflect upon as I seek to learn more about leadership - not as any kind of expert, but rather, to simply stimulate thinking and share some ideas about leading in our lives.
