So many people are saying the same thing. The decay across Britain (especially since the Covid era) is noticeable almost everywhere. Weeds growing on pavements. Filthy streets and signposts. Potholes strewn everywhere. Overflowing rubbish bins. Dirty buildings. Blocked road drains. Boarded up shops. What exactly are we paying our council tax for? We are paying more and getting less. Local councils are failing to deliver on the basics. It’s absolutely disgraceful. Britain is being left to rot.

Moronic Rayner’s reletting ban on rental properties will leave 100,000 landlords unable to sell or rent.

The Renters’ Rights Act took effect on May 1 and means that landlords cannot relet a property for sale for 12 months.

A property with no rental income means no income tax being paid by the landlord on that absent rental income.

Also, why must the government involve itself in the decision of a homeowner on whether to rent or sell?

This is socialism at its worst.
