Blaming the debate format, moderators, debates, etc. for the dumpster fire last night is like asking the dumpster to be less flammable. The dumpster is metal, people, it's doing what it can to contain the raging chaos. Maybe you should blame the arsonist. This is not complicated.
@Apple just had a very frustrating experience at the Genius Bar - my iPad is stuck on the Apple logo screen after I selected to do a software update. Since it’s 4 years old I was told my only option is to pay you $799. I am extremely disappointed in current Apple quality.
Happy Indigenous Peoples Day! Just a reminder that Native Americans are not a historical people, that we are still here, and that the biggest injustice in U.S. history—the dispossession of land from Indigenous nations largely by fraudulent treaties—remains ongoing
A Democrat was in the White House when my family was sent to the internment camps in 1941. It was an egregious violation of our human and civil rights.
It would have been understandable if people like me said they’d never vote for a Democrat again, given what had been done to us.
But being a liberal, being a progressive, means being able to look past my own grievances and concerns and think of the greater good. It means working from within the Democratic party to make it better, even when it has betrayed its values.
I went on to campaign for Adlai Stevenson when I became an adult. I marched for civil rights and had the honor of meeting Dr. Martin Luther King. I fought for redress for my community and have spent my life ensuring that America understood that we could not betray our Constitution in such a way ever again.
Bill Clinton broke my heart when he signed DOMA into law. It was a slap in the face to the LGBTQ community. And I knew that we still had much work to do. But I voted for him again in 1996 despite my misgivings, because the alternative was far worse. And my obligation as a citizen was to help choose the best leader for it, not to check out by not voting out of anger or protest.
There is no leader who will make the decision you want her or him to make 100 percent of the time. Your vote is a tool of hope for a better world. Use it wisely, for it is precious. Use it for others, for they are in need of your support, too.
I appreciate this thread but frankly I think all the hemming & hawing about Biden’s age is because a bunch of white dudes with power don’t want Kamala Harris ascending to the presidency & they’re too chickenshit to say it outright
Former President Carter entered hospice care today.

@TMobileHelp Yes, I am familiar with your promotion terms on your website.
Before signing, I need one invoice showing purchase details for the two phones plus the promotion details. We’d prefer to pay the retail price for the first phone with our next bill, but I guess you’d rather lose us.
@TMobile your sales reps claim T-Mobile never provides written documentation of promotions.
I said, “I’m supposed to sign two invoices for full price phones and just take it on faith the BOGO credit magically shows up?”
They said, “Yep, that’s how we do it.”
@TMobile - ?!?!?
@TMobileHelp Wow. I've verified this and am frankly envious of all these non-cynics who believe $700 will show up over the next 24 mos without any documentation!
You're about to lose 2 customers who have paid on time every single month for >23 years (incl companies acquired by T-Mobile).
@sjmbamberg I know it can be hard to trust, but recurring monthly credits are how we do the bulk of our promotions. Learn more about them here https://t.co/vKKUValhEn or reach out to us if you have more questions. ^KyleVesely https://t.co/8DIvLVjpvb
@TMobile “hey sign these two invoices”
Me: “these show two full price phones, where’s the BOGO promotion?”
@TMobile “oh that’ll show up as a credit on your next bill”
Me: “ok, where’s that in writing?”
@TMobile “we never put promotions in writing”
Me: . . .
Hey @Apple I enrolled in Apple Biz Essentials because of the 24/7 support. When I (finally) got to someone via chat (messages), I was given a phone # to call ... that said it was outside business hours OR an option to schedule a call, where the first available is in ... 8 hours!
I am Blessed and I am Thankful. I just got my Booster Vaccination shot. My arm is a little sore but no pain. I Pity Pain! Thanks again to all the Doctors and Nurses…
Oh, and maybe also some news stories about bedridden patients who can’t get proper pain medication because our failed regulatory system can’t recognize the difference between a bedridden person in a long-term care home and an addict going doctor-shopping. Fix this.
I spoke with @POTUS today. I told him the monument announcement runs against Utahns' wishes. I explained that his decision is hurtful and contrary to the Antiquities Act's intention. I offered to work with him on a permenant legislative fix that would protect Utahns' interest.
