Trump Admin posted the official notice of termination of CHNV to become effective 24 April 2025. Parole grants will terminate on that date unless the Secretary makes an individual determination to the contrary. Not sure how this individual determination would work in practice but at least there is a limited safety valve.

Noteworthy:

* DHS intends to cancel all pending applications for advance authorizations to travel to the United States to seek a discretionary grant of parole under the CHNV parole programs.

* There are no currently approved ATAs upon which an alien may travel under the CHNV parole programs.

* Notice states that DHS can arrest ppl at anytime including during the 30 days grace period. (publication to effective date)

Starting 24 April 2025 DHS intends to prioritize the removal of CHNV parolees who have not applied for other form of relief prior to 3/25/2025. Seems like anyone with presence of less than 2 years will be put in 235b proceedings.

ALL work permits based on CHNV will be revoked.
