Well, think again!
This time the tank was 50cm (half a meter) too tall!!

The incompetence of @BritishGas and

So here we are, starting our fourth month without hot water or heating… with no end in sight.

Today we had the third ‘installation’ appointment.

At the first appointment, the circumference was 10cm too big.

The second appt was cancelled the day before,

STAY AWAY FROM @BritishGas & @DynoUK !!

This is our broken hot water tank. 

It broke during the night of 3rd April and after hours on the phone and several Engineer visits, it was taken out to be replaced on 18th May - yes you read that correctly…

over 6 weeks to get it sorted, and that is only because we lodged a complaint.

Just one problem, it wasn’t sorted then; after 3 engineer visits to measure the space they still managed to order the wrong size tank!

…we’ve had several days when the temperature INSIDE the HOUSE was 15°C - that’s 3 degrees below the NHS minimum recommendation: “heat your home to AT LEAST 18°C”.

And yes, we have insurance, money they have been happy to take every month for years.

We’re now beginning wk 9 (!!) without any heating or hot water, and we don’t know when a new tank will be put in, despite HOURS on the phone, often several times a week, for the last two months!

At least it is now warming up a little outside, but….
