Went through 90% of my tech stuff today that i had stored away. Recharged most of it to keep the batteries in good shape. Popped out the OG Lumia 521 running Android4Lumia and felt a bit nostalgic.

Now comes selling stuff off. Too much tech, not enough time to play anymore...

Number one reason you won't see me signed into work on my main personal devices. Will admit iOS does a better job of keeping it split in terms of account logins versus Android though.

@huang_vers Will make a video but i don't think I'll share an EFI. Imo, it defeats the purpose of learning and understanding how it all works. Doing the process gives you a sense of what's going on with the config and how you can change it up. I'll definitely give pointers with kexts, etc.

Sam hasn't gone away from tech projects....

Currently battling it out with this Surface Pro 3 running OpenCore to boot macOS Big Sur 11.5. Happy to report I've learned a lot with this project. Nearly everything works too from my hand made EFI from the Dortania guide.

So the only issues I'm having at the moment are with the Surface Typecover and touchscreen. I don't quite understand ACPI enough to figure out the VoodooI2C pin guide. Will play with some source code for the Typecover though. If anyone can help me for acpi, i would appreciate it!

@Hikari_Calyx sent me an SSD to put into the thin client server i host for him. The server is an USA unlock server for his HMD bootloader unlock services.

Look up eMachines ER-1402 to see how painful it is to take this machine apart.

(it has amazing spec 😂 & upgraded 4GB RAM)

@Hikari_Calyx Personally after using many low end devices, HMD has nothing special.

The key to low end devices today is the following:
* Good build quality
* Solid specs
* Bootloader unlock for custom ROMs (for being popular in the modding/user community)
* Priced appropriately for the specs
