दिल्ली के घर-घर तक निर्बाध और स्वच्छ पानी की आपूर्ति पहुंचाने के लिए केंद्र सरकार के सहयोग से दिल्ली सरकार लगातार नए प्रोजेक्ट्स पर काम कर रही है।

दिल्ली जल बोर्ड को ADB से ₹2,500 करोड़ का फंड मिल रहा है। वजीराबाद कमांड एरिया में ₹805 करोड़ और ₹935 करोड़ के दो पैकेज स्वीकृत किए गए हैं। वहीं, वेस्ट और साउथ-वेस्ट दिल्ली के लिए ₹11,427 करोड़ के निवेश को आगे बढ़ाया गया है, जिससे 36 लाख से ज्यादा दिल्लीवासियों को बेहतर वॉटर सप्लाई इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का लाभ मिलेगा।

अनधिकृत पानी कनेक्शनों को नियमित करने की योजना भी 31 मार्च 2027 तक बढ़ा दी गई है।

West Bengal has nearly 4 lakh hectares with potential for fish and prawn cultivation, but only a fraction of its brackish-water resources are used commercially. The state produces around 80,000 tonnes of prawns annually, against nearly 8 lakh tonnes in Andhra Pradesh. Scientific expansion could unlock a seafood economy worth nearly ₹10,000 crore, create 4–5 lakh jobs, raise rural incomes and boost exports.

The sector wants a clear regulatory framework, not subsidies, including regulated conversion of agricultural land into aquaculture waterbodies during valid leases. Farm registration and traceability are critical for exports, while electricity costs are another hurdle: around ₹11/unit in Bengal versus ₹5 in Odisha and ₹6 in Andhra Pradesh.
