The Headwaters Boat Ramp (including kayak launch) at Fellsmere Water Management Area will be closed Mon–Thurs during the first full week of each month (May–Sept) for maintenance and restoration work.

In honor of Memorial Day, all SJRWMD offices will be closed Monday, May 25. 🏢

✅ Offices will reopen Tuesday, May 26.

Florida State Parks will offer free day-use admission this Memorial Day Weekend! ✨

💧 Landscape irrigation remains limited to 1 day/week.

New monitoring data shows continued seagrass recovery in the Indian River Lagoon, reflecting years of restoration projects, water quality improvements, and partnerships. While progress is encouraging, continued restoration and monitoring remain critical.

Great news—Apopka Lock is now open and operating again! 🙌

Thank you for your patience while repairs were completed. We appreciate your understanding and are glad to welcome everyone back out on the water. 🚤

⚠️ Apopka Lock is temporarily closed due to an electrical issue identified during testing.

Repairs are being assessed. No reopening date yet.
