NEWS: HMRC isn't publishing a 'self employ grants applications date' instead today its starting texting, emailing or writing to people with their specific dates.

QUESTION: Have you had a text/email, if so what's your application date.

@hmtreasury Stamp duty incentives are good. However people who took SEISS or BBL are being declined mortgages now or asked to be at a LTV of 65%!!!! What can we do to help this?

@hmtreasury I agree need to plan for jobs but not all of us are the level you think we are like Tesco/Vodafone, we are smaller entrepreneurs in IT/travel etc employing 6-7 staff as ltd company sole directors with no support since Mar20, How can we plan for jobs please?

@MartinSLewis @ExcludedUK This makes no sense on fraud, sole traders have self certified, a limited company submits to companies house, hmrc for corporation tax & self assessment. It is their system, follow their rules of compliance. Yet no support for potential fraud!

@10DowningStreet Why on one hand no financial support & the other offer support for jobs jobs jobs to build build build is ok. With what fairy dust? Time to step in to help the small business help build the economy, you say support is there, do you not hear when we say it’s not one size fits all?

Can’t he make the link, those asking for help can not get it elsewhere as the government have not supplied a support package for them. Just makes me so angry, it is so simple to all of us with a brain !!!
