Long Melford, Holy Trinity, Suffolk
The original tower was destroyed by lightning in 1701, and replaced with a brick tower in 1725. This tower was encased in flint by Bodley in 1903, but is a poor attempt at replicating a traditional Suffolk tower.

Hidden Figures!
The 15thC rood screen dado was whitewashed over in the 16thC and biblical text was painted on top. Over time the whitewash has flaked off, revealing the original figures below.

Wiveton, St Mary the Virgin, Norfolk
The aisle windows here are all the same design of striped green and orange glass. They work well on sunny days, but make the church feel rather gloomy on overcast days.

Letheringsett, St Andrew, Norfolk
The lower part of the tower here is quite possibly Saxon. The upper belfry stage was added in the 14thC and is also round rather than the more typical octagonal.
