Lots of people saying @GovernorVA was able to manipulate Virginians by pretending to be a moderate. And in some cases, especially with Independents, that may be true.

But honestly, from someone who watched it happen in real-time, she and Democrats just appealed to people who hate Trump more than they love Virginia.

Democrats hate him so much that they were willing to elect a woman endorsed by the same governor who almost destroyed their lives and families in 2020.

All that mattered to them was Trump hate.

More taxes? Well, you hate Trump so I’ll vote for you.
Fewer rights? Well, you hate Trump so I’ll vote for you.
More dangerous communities? Well, you hate Trump so I’ll vote for you.

That’s it.
They ran on hate, pretending it was virtuous, of course.

Not to mention six weeks of early voting (I know, it’s ridiculous) and of course, mail-in voting.

We never stood a chance.

PS: Don’t bother harping on me about Winsome, ultimately any Republican was going to lose to this scheme. Democrats needed Virginia and were going to do whatever it took to win here. ✌🏻
