Only complication: severe dryness for five years or so. Just used drops. But experience itself was horrifying. I totally wigged out post-surgery.

@MelEdits Gannett was my first job, too! And the paper I worked at then has a mere shell of a staff now. They continue to do good work with shrinking resources. I fear many towns will lose their “local” paper altogether.
