Passturbation stay in the mix, a point behind the top two, also with a game in hand on the leaders, and they beat FC Rhino Ket 9-5 last night. The Championship title race is very much alive!
So that's 4 games covered so far, and we're 4/4 of games that were decided by the odd goal. Care to guess how the final game of the night went? Unprotected Cesc gave us a perfect night of genuinely competitive league football, as they beat Your Team, Mate 4-3.
WHAT A NIGHT!
In the Championship, CG & Co are a game away from the title, as another tight game saw them defeat MK Dongs 5-4. Phantom Brazilians looked odds on for the title a couple of weeks ago, but they've hit a rough patch, and lost yet another tight game, 3-2 to Champagne Super Rovers
Not many league games to wrap up next week, but then we're straight back with the new season on 26th February. We're cramming in all the teams we can, so give us a shout if a regular Sunday evening fix of 6-a-side sounds like your kind of thing!
It's the penultimate night of the current Sunday season, and with no teams currently facing sanctions over financial irregularities (apart from chasing the odd lad for his fiver), let's see how the season is finishing up...
In the bottom division, Not Quite Carling will end their debut season propping everyone else up, having suffered a narrow 4-3 defeat to Requis, while Doner Kebab leap frog Dad's Army with a 9-6 win in their final game.
