@DanMKervick@NathanJRobinson@JoeBanner13 The point isn't to both sides anything, it's to point out that the liberal vision of a fair and just ceasefire is fake BS sold by the media. There never was the goal of disarming both sides, just like there was never the goal of giving Palestinians equal rights.
@CatsAndDoggos1@thewitcher Shut the fuck up, Novigrad is a made up place, the games are based on books where Geralt is killed by a bunch of peasants and where Ciri, a lesbian, is the most powerful, most important character.
An important rule of thumb. If a revolt is a genuine revolt for the people, to increase the power of the people, global media will ignore and suppress it.
If a revolt is organised and funded by US imperialism to overthrow an inconvenient or opposing govt, it will be everywhere.
I hate the Thunder, I think their foul bating is ruining the sport of basketball, but the Spurs are incredibly undisciplined and take bad shots far too often. San Antonio is too talented and too young for their own good and everyone constantly tries to play Superman.
@UNITEDWING1@EPLBible That's literally not the rule, but thanks for posting this to the Internet so everyone knows you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
@JasonGandhi9@Megatron_ron The US is losing to Communist China because capitalist businesses in the US are run by leftists?
Do you fucking listen to yourself?
@Krisco7791@MarcoFoster_@grahamformaine The Democrats and Republicans are both capitalist parties which are designed to benefit the rich and wealthy. There are like 5 Democrats in the whole country that are trying to move the party away from that mentality.
@backroads_linda@respondrecover@MarcoFoster_@grahamformaine Oh, so the government building of the highway system played no role in the enrichment of car manufacturers. That's a crazy idea, next you're going to tell me Elon Musk hasn't benefited from electric vehicle subsidies or the Iraq war didn't help Shell, Chevron, ExxonMobil.
@backroads_linda@respondrecover@MarcoFoster_@grahamformaine The entire US car industry (and the rich owners of it) exists today because the US government built the highway system instead of investing into a public rail system.
This is just one example, there's about two thousand other examples as well.
@PedroRivie95096@Soup4myfam@MarlonEttinger Mamdani and his appointees are actively working on these things, political work doesn't just happen overnight when every level of private interests oppose them. He pretty clearly didn't abandon those promises though.
