John Landy, the 2nd man to run a sub-4-mile has passed away. Landy was an absolute legend.

My favorite story of Landy is when at the Australian National Championships, in front of 20k people, he stopped mid-race to help another runner.

Christian Rivera is competing in the 5A State Track Meet tomorrow! He holds the school rec in the mi and 2 mi. He set the school rec in the mi last year and broke it 2x this year with a time of 4:22.25. He set the school rec in the 2 mi this yr with a time of 9:16.39. Good luck!

@kaufman_high XC boys team placed 6th at the @uiltexas 5A state cross meet today! @XC_Rivera2 placed 10th, earning all state honors! Great results for our first year moving up to class 5A. Very proud of these young men!
