Essen Central Station, destroyed by Allied bombing during WWII in 1944 and 1945 (as always). This structure shows clear evidence of the #Mudflood which is probably why they didn't want it sticking around.

Alexandra palace in the incarnation it spent the most time in between 1873 and 1980. Complete symmetry and beautiful geometrically precise gardens (right) in the courtyard further away on the (left) picture. See the dome? All of this is basically gone now.
