I wonder why I just witnessed a @yakimapolice cop meeting privately with Mike Kay at the park. Seems weird considering Kay is suspected of domestic violence right now. Let’s hope there’s no corruption happening 😬
“I tell it like it is. I’m straight up “
Translation: I lack the communication skills to express myself calmly and clearly.
“I’m not going to beg”
Translation: vulnerability is too scary for me. I rather avoid the situation than discuss my true feelings.
POV: the person who mistreated you and then ghosted you when you needed them the most posted that they sleep well at night knowing they’re a good friend 💀
@kimatv No, because this won’t solve anything. You’re criminalizing substance abuse disorders. Efforts would be better spent on better rehabilitation and mental health intervention and treatment. You have to actually care about these people.
You say you’re marrying him because you found love, yet all you talk about are the “things” he will provide for you. That’s not love. That’s self interest. You’d think a newly engaged couple would not stop talking about each other or at least make it their status.
The pressure to provide enough money for my family, be the best mom, make time for your marriage, do well in your 20+ yr of education so you can make more money for your family but the work required for that takes me away or drains me from my family is so so fucking overwhelming.
Christians expressing concern over people experiencing homelessness during this winter like they don’t know of any big insulated buildings that are open and could change the entire situation 🙄
We live on a capitalist society that sees humans as money-making machines. We adultify our children and rob them of all the beauty and magic that childhoods should have.
A lot of parents feel proud when their littles (0-6) don’t believe in Santa or like dressing up for Halloween. It makes parents feel as though their children are more mature than others. I totally get that. However,
I also understand the importance and power of play and imagination in a child’s development. I love when kids actually get to be kids. Not shamed for their imagination/play/magic in their mind.
