@RedBridgford @John_Wig4nRL @RossHaworth @guardian_sport@squires_david I watched the matched on BT Sport and just before 6 mins you could hear the Victims chant from a small group of Forest fans. I was there in 89 in the Kop end and 6 mins was when the ref stopped the game. Its so disappointing and upsetting that Forest fans would sing that.
Ahhhh, you'd be forgiven for switching off before the end here because who wants to listen to 1:40 of a Tory MP, but the last thing he does is try to drum up concern for Tory MPs who might lose their jobs and not be able to afford their mortgages, incredible. Amazing.
I hate the "sign on" stuff so much, because it's indicative of how tribalism makes football supporters weaker. By uniting we could be so much stronger. Instead we taunt about poverty, something that affects Nottingham almost as much as anywhere else, and so reinforce divides.
A friend of mine has organised this fund raiser tomorrow in Levenshulme. Even you can't make it please buy a raffle ticket the prizes are amazing https://t.co/r3aej8LDfy
@forzagaribaldi @elDamo I've had it my pile by the bed for a while, my Dad bought it me. It's so good though. Especially for NFFC fans of a certain age.
The games you describe being back so many memories. You were a lucky bugger. But the stuff you endured during your early years is heart wrenching. Hope you are well and looking forward to the new season as much as I am. Much love x
@craigbromf I'm on holiday in Croatia and reading your book. Wow, it's fantastic. What an amazing story. In 1985 I was a 12 year old, daft about NFFC and trying to go to a many games as I could. Despite living 50 miles away.
@EveT1991 When I go to Forest I park on Victoria Embankment. If you park near the start it's very close Meadow Lane. Don't follow the river, look for the floodlights and cut through.
