It is difficult to fathom how people can commit truly evil acts, such as genocide and the murder of children.

What is even more difficult to comprehend, is others ENJOYING and CELEBRATING images of those evil acts.

But that is what you get in Israel now, with parties of people watching and cheering videos of Israel blowing up villages in Southern Lebanon.

An image showing an Israeli soldier using a hammer to smash a statue of Jesus on a cross in south Lebanon sparked online outrage on Sunday.

When my grandfather was 102, he caught pneumonia and one night in Marjayoun his lungs started to fail. Gasping for breath, he asked me not to take him to the hospital in this video. He wanted to die in his own bed. I grappled with whether to respect his wish or not. Thread/

Today I am so thankful that my grandfather has already found peace. I am grateful that he doesn’t know of the difficult decisions that others in South Lebanon face or the hidden suffering that surrounds him in the mountains where he is buried.
