@LorieBatrez @HISD_SecMath this happens in small towns as well - I had a student leave to a north texas town her senior year. She would not have many subjects available in her senior year.

@MarieTXTeacher @alyssahowelly @HISD_SecMath kids may not be "taught" to rise above failure to overcome, this is the "learning environment" of home and later in school or community. There are a lot of kids who quit in any socio-economic, and culture.
