Ambulance service clinical training officer/emergency response driving instructor & pony owner. Inspired by @bike_medic, lost 27/7/14 to Pancreatic CA 💜.
Do you know what to do if you encounter an emergency vehicle running under emergency conditions? Fantastic video explaining what to expect from some of our actions and how to respond appropriately. https://t.co/EQYmF7NYpe
@trafficscotland Website stated closed at 10:30. Drove under the matrix prior to Stirling Services after this and it just advised caution. Suggest it needs changed quickly to advise of closure if not already done to avoid adding to the now trapped traffic.
@ZelenskyyUa Trump saying he was glad it was televised so that people could see what was going on was right. I doubt however he will ever accept that it showed only one statesman in the room, and that wasn’t him! #SlavaUkraini from UK
@RuthYaelFisher@JeremyVineOn5@Kevin_Maguire@thecarolemalone@theJeremyVine Jeremy, you are clearly anti-doctors and have been since the start of the strike action. Always Malone as a guest, you allow her to constantly shout over the medics. When it comes to believing pay levels I believe the person earning it, not the shouty overpaid journo.
@JeremyVineOn5@Kevin_Maguire@thecarolemalone@theJeremyVine So how come Malone gets to shout over the junior doc but tells him to let her speak?! Rude.
Pay should not be dictated by comparison to others but by responsibility held. She has not got a clue!
@DavidBoink Exactly. Fed up too hearing wages being judged against a standard of living - they should be about the levels of responsibility carried by a role. Bet your bottom dollar that if Carol had chosen a medical career she’d feel very differently.
#jeremyvine please don’t make throwaway comments such as Boris ‘nearly dying’ of Covid. So disingenuous to those who died and those who genuinely did nearly lose their lives, who were on life support and/or spent long periods in hospital.
@KiaUK@ArnoldClark 2/2 Poor advice from AC also to ‘keep topping coolant up’ whilst waiting for dealership repair. Work carried out with 3 working days notice to get Kia part by a fantastic independent garage, just a shame £552 lighter for repairs and £150 hire car.
@KiaUK@ArnoldClark it’s all very well reassuring me that the radiator on my 2nd hand 18 plate Sorento is covered under warranty…but absolutely not worth the paper it’s written on when no Kia dealership in a 30 mile radius can fix it inside 4 weeks 1/2
@DrSelvarajah@DrLindaDykes Crazy. I met (thru work) a young lady who’d fled North Africa. Highly educated/motivated to work, spoke 5 languages. Stuck in a house of strangers on £35/wk. She was volunteering with Red Cross at a soup kitchen so long as they paid her bus fare. I often wonder about her.
@EnglandRugby Nations all have their ups and downs. Last week was a really hard watch but admired the way the team came out today. Great champs for the ☘️ and felt they had the win whatever, but the score flattered a little thanks to the red/yellow cards. Onwards!
The BBC has decided not to broadcast an episode of David Attenborough’s flagship new series on British wildlife because of fears its themes of the destruction of nature would risk a backlash from Tory politicians and the rightwing press https://t.co/qY2ZwZS90q
@HumzaYousaf blowing the trumpet that no ‘ambulance drivers’ have gone on strike in Scotland. You certainly haven’t covered yourself in glory with how you’ve handled the pay/conditions dispute. And still repeatedly using poor terminology to refer to ambulance staff…
Child in lunchbox focus group after watching the associated app - “I don’t mean to be rude but…it was really cringey and the best bit was when it was over”.
Well done, kid. You summed up the whole #TheApprentice viewing experience 🤣🤣.
