Lately I’ve been thinking about this: learning isn’t a bonus — it’s part of the job. That’s why I’ve decided to make reading a habit again.
I’m starting with “Cómo vivir (muy bien) de la traducción”.
What about you — what book’s still on your list?
🔍 Should seals or signatures be reproduced in a sworn translation? Not recommended.
Replicating logos or seals can create legal confusion or copyright issues.
Describe them instead: [Sello circular], [Firma ilegible].
A sworn translation should attest to the content above all.
In sworn or certified translations, grades are usually left in their original language, with a note added for approximate equivalents.
ℹ️ Adapting them to other grading systems is up to the authorities, not the translator.
Translation in an age of misinformation.
Messages travel fast. Accuracy often pays the price.
One wrong word can twist a speech, a contract or even a crisis.
Would you trust a legal or diplomatic decision to machine translation?

Language can build bridges or create barriers. Inclusive translation isn’t a trend, it’s a necessity to ensure everyone feels represented and respected, reflecting human diversity. #InclusiveTranslation#Diversity

Interpreting at the Mexican Consulate in London this week required both precision in communication and a deep understanding of legal language. I’m truly grateful for these opportunities that keep me learning. 💼📜 #PowerOfAttorney
