Can’t wait to get back home but this trip to Dubai has been amazing.
@skillestapp is looking to do another one next year or maybe sooner 🤔
Where would you want the event to be at?
Stephen was a 41 handicap when we started about a year ago.
I have never met him in person! He may get down to a single digit this year. Online lessons work. @skillestapp
Why aren’t you doing them? If you are interested, Dm me for a code.

I think a lot of golfers can EASILY improve their chipping around the green by doing the following:
1. Stand closer to the ball with a narrow stance
2. Lift the handle higher and get the heel off the ground
3. This places your wrists in “ulnar deviation” which can help take out excessive wrist hinge (think thumbs down)
4. Use your torso as the main power source and limit the wrist hinge
That’s it. I bet if you tried that you’d chip it much better. 56 deg is a good club around the greens for most shots
My video and 🧵 on shallow/steep chip shots
Hopefully you guys can hear me enough… didn’t realize the audio wasn’t great until after. If you can’t hear at all, I’ll film it again
Comment with any questions you might have and I’ll try to answer them.
Also, Parker McLaughlin and Joe Mayo know much more about how to teach this stuff than me, these videos are how I go about doing these certain shots. Parker and Joe will have more info and you can easily find their stuff on their social media. These are just very basic breakdowns and from the fairway.
This pitching style produces high spin and predictable trajectory making distance control easy. Goes like this Set up: narrow stance, hands and ball position neutral, clubface slightly open, weight hint left. Swing: Rib cage rotation is the engine. Wide back and through so club skids with slight shaft lean. Ball launches mid-20 degrees with a 58. Body raises up and backs up a hint. Pretty skilful but you can at least get it “wide to wide” to let the club skid not dig. Video @shortgamechef
Do you struggle with low point control? Tired of hitting the ball fat?
Here is one common move that I see golfers do that causes low point issues!
🔹If the upper body moves off the golf ball too much, you will have a hard time getting the chest back on top of the ball at impact
🔹Work on staying more centred when you rotate your body in the backswing
🔹This will help stay over the ball and make it easier to have you body ahead of the ball at impact, moving low point forward and compressing the ball better
Increased shaft lean, divot in front of the ball, compressed iron shots 👊🏼
@JadeFertig4@LouStagner Remote lessons is a great way to get a lot of shorter lessons. You get the personal one on one attention but in a fraction of the time so you can work with your coach more often.
