I already said I did, check the thread, responded to another dude.
Also again regardless, nothing I'm saying is false. Objectively you can either
- parry
- dodge
- jump every single health damaging attack in the game, the only difference is the i-frames and button you press. Am I right or wrong?
@jasonrichardson@Kougeru@geoffkeighley just buy a small micro-atx build, my pc uses this case with the rgb turned off and it's even smaller than my ps5 and doesn't look out of place anywhere
It wasn't implied at all, I literally acknowleged in my first reply that there's other builds which obviously include ones where you can tank hits without parrying.
I also know it's not realistic to parry everything, just like it's not realistic to do a no hit run (artificializing difficulty) but once again, my point is the parrying itself takes away from the strategy, because parrying is a reactionary command and not something you think about, and the possibility of being able to parry, dodge or jump everything means the player never actually needs to ever strategize if they can simply learn to react to the telegraphed attacks on screen.
@jasonrichardson@Kougeru@geoffkeighley Oh mb, forgot nvidia gpus arent supported
Regardless you can just install bazzite, use big picture mode and get a functionally indentical experience regardless.
@derrickgott007@geoffkeighley Because it'll likely be way stronger than the steam deck, offer more ports, modularity, replaceable parts, io etc. that drive the price way up. It's why Prebuilt PCs can still be quite pricey
It's a prebuilt PC but made by valve and using valve's OS. It's not like consoles where they have an entirely different super specialized configurations with unified memory that are sold at a massive loss. The steam machine will be prices similarly to the rest of the prebuilt market.
@Do1Bitch@geoffkeighley Consoles are sold at a much higher loss vs prebuilt PCs/handhelds and they use full custom parts that are bought in bulk
If the steam machine is anything to go by with its prices the steam machine will certainly cost more
@KalajahMithos@HazzadorGamin I'd rather have 30fps with sharp image quality over 40fps and it's a smeared mess.
That's one of the main reasons why I played exclusively in resolution mode on the PS5, performance mode looks genuinely terrible
@PhilMcGrawGamer@SK10Addy@magatsuizanyagi I did play the game. Everybody knows that the parry/dodge/jump trivializes any strategy component unless you actively go out of your way to do a non-parry build.
@PhilMcGrawGamer@SK10Addy@magatsuizanyagi No you don't. Objectively speaking every attack in the game that does damage to you can either be parried, dodged or jumped over.
All the player has to do is understand the timings. Then just do whatever your largest attacks are on your turn.
@PhilMcGrawGamer@SK10Addy@magatsuizanyagi And if you're above average in reactionary commands like parrying/dodging then you'll *almost* never need to strategize in a genre that's supposed to be designed around strategy, and if you do it's the bare minimum.
