I don’t know who you are but you clearly know nothing about ships or the ocean environment. This is quite normal corrosion due to absence of hull maintenance crews during combat operations. Not all aircraft complement will fit below deck

The USS Abraham Lincoln arrived in Thailand, covered in rust and clearly visible fractures.

It did not even have a working elevator for the planes. There are usually 4 of them. The planes are visible on deck, but should be in the hangar in the deck below.
