I genuinely think if we all adopted a 4 day work week with 5-6 hour days, it would change the course of society. People would be happier, healthier, less angry, and more present. Social bonds would be stronger. It could literally change the entire world.
I really hate the anxiety that comes with corporate life. It is 4pm on Sunday evening and I can already feel the pressure of the week ahead breathing down my neck.
i hate how social media makes people forget that life has stages. it's normal to be broke, to have broke friends or partners and yes it's even normal to be unemployed at times. these are phases we all go through.
some people are lucky enough to find good jobs at a young age and afford a certain lifestyle. others take longer and that's perfectly okay. we need to stop comparing ourselves and start accepting our journey. i just want all of us to be at peace with where we are in life while still working and striving for better.
I honestly can’t be the only one who sees how abnormal it is that we work 5-10 hours, commute, come home, and only get a few hours to ourselves, and that includes cooking, showering, and getting ready for the next day? This isn’t how to live life.
I’ve never come back from a weekend feeling relaxed and reinvigorated to get back into work.
I come back with the taste of freedom, still fresh in my mouth, a renewed hatred for work, and a strong suspicion that this is not what I should be spending my life doing.
i refuse to date an unromantic man. i feel like if you’re not taking me on dates, it won’t work out. coming over to your house everyday is not romantic. let’s denormalize that that. these gays need more chivalry.
I hate being in a romantic dude in an….
“Just wanna fuck” generation.
Where’s the substance, the consistency, the romance, the energy, & the doing more than just saying…..
“I like you”.
