@PeetePigskin It was literally the English who discovered the cause of scurvy and we were the first navy to give our sailors limes. Hence the nickname ‘Limeys’.
@TimGreenst66290@SamCKx If that was true the he could just declare it. Declaring a gift is about transparency. It doesn’t assume any guilt. The fact he didn’t declare it is astonishingly naive at best.
@London_W4 It is quite literally how the rules work. Our general election is for a party, not the PM. When was the last time a PM that won and election left office as a result of losing an election? It’s staggeringly rare.
@parkes_richard It is known that these weather events are increasing in frequency and severity. Your denial of climate change based on some anecdotal tribal guff and being shouty makes you look stupid to those who actually understand what's happening.
@LexiBeaChorlton@Nigel_Farage Actually I expect the next GE will be fought with a Labour manifesto pledge to re join the EU. So you better seat counting those brexit benefits because!! They don't exist!!
@JohnCleese John. These stories are made up or reflect views that are far far from being anything that represents the views of the people they are attacking. Stop being a patsy for the far right. It's demeaning.
@Queenshandbag1 He could just declare it. Even if it is a completely innocent transaction he can declare it. Why would he not declare it? These rules protect us from corruption. A PM who doesn’t understand that isn’t fit and you should be very curious about what the £5m was for.
@ShaunDFe@Bbmorg Sorry Shaun but parliamentary rules dictate that he then has to declare it when he does become an MP. These rules are designed to prevent other parties having influence over our government. If it wasn’t important he would have declared it!
