I personally think this is a PR move & the park and several rollercoaster enthusiasts made a deal to spread this Kingda Ka rumor to get more people in the park

People are using the fact that there’s no Kingda Ka merch left as a way to be like seee it’s closing.. but also have you taken into account that everyone thinks it’s closing so they’re buying out the merch?
