House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Brett Guthrie said Wednesday that Congress should move forward with legislation designed to ensure data centers bear the costs of the massive electricity infrastructure needed to support their growing energy demands, according to a report. https://t.co/0jItoTdRNO
I urge all people to stay out of the new race baiting narrative of the recent court case where two teens had an innocent confrontation until one pulled a knife.
Without the SPLC paying racists to sow division and create the narrative of racism, we’re getting it direct.
DO NOT ENGAGE!
We do not care about race! We care about citizens, all races, meritocracy, debate, and AMERICA!
Referencing the USS Liberty incident—a tragic 1967 event during the fog of the Six-Day War, for which Israel promptly apologized and paid reparations—as justification for abandoning Israel amid the ongoing conflict with Iran demonstrates a selective and shortsighted view. It disregards nearly six decades of strengthened bilateral ties, shared intelligence successes, and evolving strategic realities.
Israel stands as the region’s sole robust democracy committed to Western values, encircled by hostile theocratic regimes explicitly dedicated to its elimination. Like other nations’ intelligence services—including the United States’ own historical operations—Israel has committed errors that merit scrutiny. Yet framing these as equivalent to alignment with Iran’s regime, or alleging undue Israeli control over U.S. policy, lacks substantive evidence and ignores pragmatic geopolitics.
The U.S.-Israel partnership delivers tangible mutual benefits, particularly in countering Iranian threats. This includes extensive intelligence collaboration on terrorism, nuclear proliferation, and proxy networks, as well as joint operations that have degraded Iran’s capabilities. In contrast, Iran remains the world’s foremost state sponsor of terrorism, funding proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas while pursuing nuclear ambitions and committing systematic human rights abuses.
Alliances demand discernment, not perfection. Israel has repeatedly demonstrated reliability as a forward partner against common adversaries. In the current conflict, prioritizing the Iranian regime over this proven alliance disregards core values, security imperatives, and the imperative of supporting dependable friends when they stand ready. Strategic leeway for imperfect but aligned partners is essential; abandoning them for a demonstrably hostile actor serves neither principle nor interest.
