🧡 Critic Park Hee-ah described Shotaro as the best dancer among idols of his generation. She shared that when she heard he was moving from NCT to RIIZE, she immediately thought the group would succeed because of his incredibly strong dance foundation. She praised his solid dance lines and said she could already picture RIIZE's formations before even seeing them perform. She also admired how light and effortless his dancing is, saying he never loses his own style or groove even while performing idol choreography. According to her, Shotaro's free-spirited vibe perfectly represents RIIZE's "real-time growth" concept, and ultimately described him as the backbone of RIIZE.

🧡 Lyricist Jo Yoon-kyung praised Shotaro's dancing for looking so light that it seems as if gravity doesn't affect him. She recalled how many fans were initially hesitant when he joined NCT, but said he won people over with his isolation in "Make A Wish."
