@RJacksonterror You can't have it both ways.
- Complain about civilian deaths
- Complain when Israel enables civilians to escape from areas Hamas have imbedded themselves within them
@literallysup@EYakoby Self reflection aside, doesn't that defeat the BDS movement though. Jobs and billions of dollars is the opposite they are trying to achieve?
BREAKING: An UNRWA school principal revealed to be a Hamas terrorist.
UNRWA confirmed the termination of Gaza principal Hafez Mousa after investigations linked him to Hamas and the October 7 massacre.
Both Israel and the US concluded that he was a Hamas member after discovering that on the morning of October 7, Hafez used the same cellphone to perform his duties both as an UNRWA school principal and a Hamas member.
For over two years, a Hamas terrorist held a high-authority job in a school with children. And he’s probably not the only one. Yonatan Samerano’s body was kidnapped to Gaza by UNRWA members on October 7.
Would it be too much to ask for UNRWA to stop hiring terrorists? Or better yet, to be dismantled?
Saudi writer Abdulrahman Al-Rashed:
"We have never seen Israel or America launching missiles at Gulf capitals. Iran is the one that did that.
Defending Iran because it raises the banner of Palestine while ignoring what it did to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and the Gulf is a grave insult to the Arab countries that bore the cost for four decades."
My friend in Iran wrote:
“We are in the middle of a war. The Israeli army sends warnings so civilians can protect their lives. Meanwhile our own government threatens to kill us 24/7.
[So tell me] who is really the enemy?”
God help us. A Prime Minister who can't work out the difference between offensive and defensive strikes.
A Deputy Prime Minister who thinks Cyprus is in NATO. And a Defence Secretary who thinks Iran's attacks in June were only on military targets.
Tell that to the families of the 28 Israeli civilians killed by the Iranian regime in their indiscriminate attacks.
The UK's spiral into oblivion is surely inevitable with these utterly pathetic characters at the helm.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz shuts down Palestine activist heckling him.
“The federal government that I lead will never leave any doubt about where we stand. We stand with Israel.”
@MUFC4lifer@Gerald78765@TouchlineX That's your team's issue. It's about time and patience and it's showing. You guys buy, sell and rebuild every 2 years. Throw players under the bus non-stop. Liverpool shows patience and it's being rewarded.
It’s terrifying that this is what my party is turning into. One openly advocating the destruction of Israel.
It wouldn’t just be the Jews that would be genocided. Also the 2 million Arabs that are the descendants of the people that didn’t try to kill their neighbors in 1948.
Two years. Two years passed since the last moment I saw Avinatan, the love of my life. Two years since the moment terrorists kidnapped us, put me on a motorcycle, and tore me away from Avinatan before the eyes of the entire world.
From that moment, our journey in captivity was separated. I was held captive with children, women, and the elderly, while Avinatan was held alone. I was mostly kept inside houses, while Avinatan was only in the tunnels. Hamas released videos and signs of life from me, while there was no information at all about Avinatan. I was held captive by Hamas for 246 days, while Avinatan was held for 738 days. I came back in a heroic rescue operation, and Avinatan returned in a deal.
But both of us, against all odds, came home and were reunited!
I cannot put into words the range of emotions I felt when I saw him for the first time after so long. Each of us faced death countless times, and yet, after two years apart, we are finally taking our first steps together again in the State of Israel.
At last, we can begin our healing together. The recovery will be long; we still haven’t truly processed what has happened here over these past two years. But we won. We won our personal war, and the war of all those who fought alongside us to reach this moment. And now, the time has come to begin our shared journey together.
I want to say a huge thank you, first and foremost, to the @IDF soldiers and security forces who have been fighting for so long and risk their lives for us every single day. Thank you to our family, friends, and to the people of Israel, Am
Yisrael, who raised their voices when we couldn’t speak. To the people around the world who embraced us, to all the incredible individuals who supported us through the hardest times and never lost hope throughout this long period. To the US government, which opened its doors to me and was always there to listen, especially @SEPeaceMissions Steve Witkoff, @jaredkushner, and the exceptional, President @realDonaldTrump.
To all the people who too stood beside our hostages and understood that light must overcome darkness.
We will never forget the fallen and the murdered, and we will not stop fighting until every fallen soldier and hostage is brought home for a proper burial in Israel.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This could never have happened without you.
We are back ❤️
Arab-Israeli news anchor — and tireless hostage advocate — Lucy Aharish is overtaken by tears when she receives flowers from Itzik Horn. His sons Yair and Eitan are survivors.
You may know Lucy's husband Tsahi Halevi from Fauda.
Tsahi told me his wife is amazing. We all agree.
Grab your tissues. Segev Kalfon’s family didn’t know he had survived the October 7 attack until February, when they heard from a released hostage that he was alive.
Today, after 738 days in captivity, Segev is finally, finally reunited with his family. 💛
Many chanting over Palestine are not materially interested in Palestinians, and are entangeled in a combination of a Quatari disinformation, euronormartive antisemitism, AND overt self importance.
This obsession did not exist for Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Ukraine etc.
