🙄 Let's just be clear and real here: Alberta is not separating. Quebec is not separating. No Canadian province or territory is ever, EVER leaving Canada.
Pretending there's even a slight chance of it is nothing but a distraction from actual issues affecting Canada.
@Gina_T1@grok JFC.
You're asking the AI of X, probably the biggest propaganda machine GLOBALLY what the biggest propaganda machines are.
I just can't with you people.
A core principle of Canadian criminal law, explicitly protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the presumption of innocence as outlined in Section 11(d). A member of the government such as Jennifer Blatherwick has a duty to uphold this foundational principle. She has failed in that duty.
Sexual assault allegations must be acknowledged, not ignored. Leaders need to use their platforms and power to protect victims and survivors - not erase accountability.
So, KLF's first order of business as leader of the BC Conservatives is to fly to Alberta to meet with a Premier pushing to separate from Canada?
Jeffery Rath refers to KLF as "helpful" to the separatist movement in Alberta...

I’ve been watching British Columbia politics since 1972, and I have never seen the level of panic I’m seeing right now from the NDP/Liberal establishment.
They are throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, at anyone connected to the rebuilding of a serious conservative movement in this province.
Charges announced against Jordan Kealy. Charges announced against Amelia Boultbee. Constant attempts to tie Kerry-Lynne Findlay’s leadership to Trump. Coordinated attacks from every predictable corner.
I’ve seen dirty politics before. I’ve seen desperation before. But I have not seen this level of institutional panic in more than 50 years.
So the question is simple:
What do they know that we don’t?
What is happening behind the curtain that has them this rattled?
Because the scale of the reaction feels wildly disproportionate to the public threat they claim to see. That tells me they see something bigger coming, and they are terrified the people of British Columbia are finally starting to see it too.

British Columbians,
If a government feels it can only move forward by censoring its own citizens, we have a huge problem. I believe we have a huge problem here in Canada, and it is showing up clearly in British Columbia.
When governments shut down opposition through legislation instead of engaging in open debate, that is coercion. It replaces principled, accountable negotiations with force. Progress on complex issues should come through economic partnerships and respectful dialogue that benefits all British Columbians, not by silencing those who disagree.
As Leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, I will take this issue directly to the people. We will fight it with clarity and focus. I was born and raised here, and I have raised my own family in this province. I will not stand by while governments treat citizens as obstacles rather than partners.
We can do better. We must do better.
@Prominent_Bryan@KarlDHarrison They are trying to close the Overton Window on Alberta separation. Any neutral comment by a politician doesn’t do that and so is unacceptable.
@matt_kercher If Alberta becomes independent and thrives - which it would with American support - the natural next step is for Saskatchewan to join Alberta. And then BC😉
Boo-Boo Kitty,
I can assure you they are not underestimating you
You were unremarkable as a minister federally
You're currently under investigation
Your husband is... Yikes!
And 49% of your party doesn't like you
Have fun!
