this type of girl is a mixed bag for me.
a lot of the replies are being unnecessarily harsh and adding things that weren’t even in the original post. i’ve had friends whose moms were genuinely unstable, and while they turned out fine, i often couldn’t fully be myself around them. i’ve also met the “i’m not like other girls” type and that energy wasn’t fun either.

female socialization has such a high standard for conformity. the harsh reactions to this post kind of prove it. i’d give her more grace.
