@LawnMemo Ok Iโve already answered and sorry to double dip, and though this isnโt a *jam, per se, those opening notes to Terrapin Station in VA Beach โ98 and the crowd reaction were unlike anything Ive ever experienced at a show
@leonardstern@LawnMemo WOW, I already answered but Iโm with you here too. I had never heard BEK at the time and thought it was all tweezer improv, mind completely blown ๐คฏ
@DBangNC@LawnMemo Although this wasnโt my answer you made me rethink. Quick story I waited the entire set prior plus setbreak in line for the Ferris wheel and made it on as they were kicking off mikes. Saw that whole raging jam red lights smoke and all from the air ๐ค
@chopaganda In college in Savannah at the time so this weekend were the only Fall 97 shows I saw, Hampton/Winston Salem... Looking back I think I did ok ๐
@chopaganda I think this is a great take, and although I had never thought about it I couldnโt agree more. โ98 sound definitely changed and started the descent down the other side from the peak that was โ97 (though I still thoroughly love โ98 and particularly the summer cover tour)
@chopaganda 2nd this. I was in the pavilion (thank god) and looked up at setbreak at the slip and slide and shit was WILD. Had friends on the lawn during the storm cowering for their lives
