Institutional adoption of digital assets is stuck on one core dichotomy: blockchain's transparency vs. regulated finance's need for privacy and selective access.
Pritesh Kotecha, Head of Growth at Teranode, breaks down why trust and privacy can't just be checked at the start of a transaction; they have to travel with it.
Full insights in the video.

"BIP110ers only have a few days to get the 55% miner support they need."
...siiigh...
No, that's not how this works.
We only have a few days until we start enforcing BIP110, whether miners like it or not.
Miners only have a few days before we start rejecting their blocks.
.@BSVAssociation just raised the bar again
Yesterday, BSV processed 3.7M+ transactions, up 13% from the day before and marking its highest daily throughput in the past month 🤯

Reorganisation — BTC
August 2010, before any chain split, block 74638, a value-overflow defect creating 184,467,440,737.09551616 coins; patched client within five hours adding a consensus rule rejecting such outputs; the network abandoned the defective branch, the corrected chain overtaking at height 74691.
Cited to CVE-2010-5139. There the record was discarded.
Never believe BitCoin cannot recover funds.
Taproot did not abolish the ledger, and Lightning did not create mathematical invisibility. What these changes did was reduce the amount of transaction meaning visible to an outside observer, make different forms of control look alike, and shift substantial payment activity from a globally replicated evidential record into fragmented local records held by intermediaries.
That increases the cost of investigation.
It weakens simple transaction tracing.
It creates more opportunities for stolen funds to be blended into legitimate liquidity.
It makes attribution depend increasingly upon surveillance, subpoenas, exchange cooperation, seized devices, timing analysis and proprietary forensic inference rather than the public transaction graph alone.
This is also an institutional-governance issue.
BTC Core did not merely improve neutral plumbing. Changes such as Taproot and the infrastructure enabling Lightning altered the balance between privacy, auditability, recovery and accountability. Those choices may be defended as protecting legitimate financial privacy, but they remain choices made by identifiable people and institutions. They impose costs upon victims, investigators, courts and regulated businesses while creating benefits for users seeking confidentiality.
One cannot honestly claim both that BTC never changes and that its reduced traceability is merely an inevitable property of mathematics.
People selected these features.
People implemented them.
People promoted their adoption.
And the result is a system in which a thief may not become invisible, but can force everyone pursuing the money to work through a considerably darker room.
I want BSV to win because it is the most complete expression of the principles I believe in—efficiency, scalability, and decentralisation (non-marxist).
But my attachment isn’t to the code or the network; it’s to the idea that gave birth to it. The idea is what matters.
The notion of micropayments surviving isn’t just an abstract concept. It’s a revolution in how value is perceived and exchanged.
BSV was designed to enable this, to make it practical and scalable. Whether it’s BSV or another system that carries this torch, the idea will endure.
BSV isn't a cryptocurrency.
It is the decentralized hard drive for the global AI economy!! 💯
The flippening won't happen because of retail hype.
It will happen because of enterprise data demands...
#BSV scales on-chain ⚖️ MASSIVELY!!

Launching a company requires an abundance of self-confidence, but ensuring that your confidence doesn’t become hubris can be like walking a tightrope in a windstorm.
When I launched Bodog, there were a lot of naysayers. The sector was crowded with established competitors, the regulatory climate was a minefield, the tech bubble was bursting and signs of the coming recession were limiting people’s discretionary income.
But I believed I had what it took to overcome these challenges. I’ve always been willing to work hard to meet whatever challenge presented itself, and I was still young enough that there would be time to start over if I failed. But I didn’t really believe I would fail.
Tech is full of similarly confident individuals who swam against the current and lived to celebrate reaching the further shore. But major success early on can convince some that they’re ‘special’ and not subject to the rules that bind more ‘average’ people.
If you’re not careful, you’re soon cutting small corners. If you get away with that, cutting bigger corners gets easier. And if the world keeps blowing smoke up your ass, pretty soon you’re Sam Bankman-Fried and your customers are asking where their fucking money went.
No doubt founders are built different. But a lot of modern founder rhetoric can come off as elevating themselves by pushing others down. I suspect history would view Neil Armstrong very differently if his first words after setting foot on the lunar surface were “that’s one small step for man….and I’m that man, bitches! SUCK IT, ALDRIN!”
I’m sure people who only knew me as the face of Bodog marketing thought I was full of myself and my ego needed stroking. In reality, it was simply an opportunity to do something no one else in that space was doing and it helped the Bodog brand cut through the noise.
It’s healthy to celebrate your accomplishments, especially when they’re achieved against lousy odds. Just keep in mind that, all your hard work aside, a million things beyond your control had to go right to realize that success. And there’s no guarantee those slot reels will all line up in your favour next time. So a little humility might be in order.
How do you view today’s ‘founder energy?’ Unnecessary and occasionally off-putting braggadocio? Or a necessary prerequisite for success?
