When your core voters are disillusioned with you, the last thing, the absolute last thing, you should do is shame them.

This is Ajay Alok, BJP's national spokesperson. Today, he made a video criticizing, in a condescending tone, those GCs expressing anger with the BJP. If he was told by the party to do it, God help the party. And if he did it on his own initiative, thinking he would get noticed by the high command by attacking GCs despite being a GC himself, thereby getting better positions, then the party must show him the door to control the damage he has done.

The funny part is that he joined the BJP only in 2023. Before that, he was in the LJP, BSP, and JDU, and now he is preaching faith in the party to GCs.

What is even more ironic is that both of his children are US citizens. They will not be affected by the reservation politics here, and yet he is gaslighting GCs who are speaking out against reservation. In his follow-up tweets, he even called those GCs disgruntled with the BJP "nasli bewafa."

50% seats are reserved for the general pool, while SC/ST/OBC reserved seats are, in many instances, not fully filled in higher education, and several sectors remain outside the reservation framework. If the argument is that reservation deprives the general pool of opportunities and therefore impedes merit and innovation, a more fundamental question arises: how many major scientific, technological and industrial innovations has this supposedly privileged 50% produced? Why does India continue to depend heavily on China, Japan, Europe and America for so many technologies, products and critical innovations? If the 50% occupying the general pool had exclusive access to merit-based opportunities for generations, why has that alleged advantage not translated into technological independence and innovation on a scale comparable with the major industrial powers?

🟢Private medical colleges have something called Management Quota seats that were supposed to be filled more freely by the college at higher fees.

🔻In Chhattisgarh, BJP govt has forced SC, ST & OBC reservations even inside this Management Quota!!!

🔻Result? A general category student has to score much higher marks & still pay the expensive private college fees.

🔻A reserved category student gets the same seat with far lower marks.

Govt seats already heavily reserved. Now BJP making sure private college management quota also has caste quotas shrinking options for GC students

Cut offs keep rising for GC students.
Fees keep rising.

In simple words BJP is choking options for general category kids.
