For over two to three weeks now, my Telecel Ghana Fibre service has been completely unavailable. Despite reaching out to the company, their customer service team has been unable to provide any timeline for restoration.
We have purchased hundreds to thousands of Ghana cedis worth of data bundles that remain unusable. This prolonged outage has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss to many users.
I respectfully urge your office to consider strengthening consumer protection measures through legislation or regulatory directives. Such measures could mandate fair compensation or refunds for extended service disruptions where customers are unable to utilise prepaid services.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to improved accountability and service reliability in the telecommunications sector.
