Today's Supreme Court decision to uphold the TikTok ban reveals a glaring contradiction: while the government restricts platforms like TikTok, allegedly for security reasons, it simultaneously defends practices under FISA and the Patriot Act that allow for widespread surveillance of its own citizens.
If the concern is truly about privacy and national security, shouldn't we also scrutinize the extensive domestic spying authorized by these acts? It seems only the government is allowed to spy without limits. We need to challenge this double standard and fight for consistent, principled approaches to both privacy and security.

The cops who raided @ogafroman's home, damaged his property, stole his money and found absolutely no evidence are suing him for releasing the footage of it.
They say it embarrasses them and hurts their reputations.
Be a real shame if everyone shared.
